The pegasus is a species of winged horse. They are very rare. There is a rumor that they are intelligent, but, so far, this has not been proven. There is also another rumor that some larger and more powerful force protects and keeps the pegasus out of the hands of civilization.
If a pegasus is ever caught, all efforts to train them will be unsuccessful. Any opportunity given to the pegasus will be taken advantage of and the pegasus will escape. Mind controlling magic does not work on a pegasus.
